Message-ID: <1991Mar18.173231.3678@cs.mcgill.ca> Date: 18 Mar 91 17:32:31 GMT Sender: news@cs.mcgill.ca (Netnews Administrator) Organization: SOCS, McGill University, Montreal, Canada Lines: 21 Originator: prodigy@bart I am having a problem trying to run AppInspector: Whenever I try to do an "Open..." I get the following error message (in console): /usr/lib/fastps: Couldn't get host priviledge port. what the heck is fastps? there is NO mention of it anywhere in the 2.0 docs (online) that I can find. (ie fastps is not found as a keyword in any of the docs, using digital librarian). Also, when I do manage to get AppInspector working by calling it from gdb, it never allows the "peep" option to work, among others. Very strange. I should mention that the NeXTs I'm using are on running on a network, with all software on a central server. Thanks in advance, Chris Alpaugh prodigy@bart.cs.mcgill.ca
