Keywords: texindex, texinfo, LaTeX Message-ID: <103497@unix.cis.pitt.edu> Date: 15 Mar 91 16:18:01 GMT Organization: Univ. of Pittsburgh, Computing & Information Services Lines: 16 I am trying to obtain a hardcopy of several .texinfo files, and am currently using texi2dvi to accomplish it. The problem is that texi2dvi expects a program named "texindex" to generate the index after the first run through LaTeX, but I've been unable to locate a version which seems applicable. I found a VAX Pascal version on several of the archive sites, but p2c (which I installed just for this purpose) has quite a few problems with its I/O statements. Is there a C version of texindex out there, or does one just have to manually translate the offending code? Thanks in advance for any pointers! -- Nick Nystrom Chemistry Department University of Pittsburgh nystrom@a.psc.edu
