I need information on terminal servers to add to my network.  Specifically:
   1. Are there functional differences between, say an Emulex and a Lantronix
      server--or any other server for that matter.
   2. Aside from running under a TCP/IP network, are there any other software
      or hardware considerations to be aware of?
   3. Is there any de-facto standard, be it hardware or software?  References
      to question 1 of course.
