We are running SUN 386i's, but they are fast becoming too slow to keep up with our work load. The administration is looking to buy a new server, and have been looking a DEC station or Sun SPARC box. I am wondering how an A3000 would stack up against the latter. The unit will only be used as a server, so the main concern is i/o speed (I guess that's the main concern). Can anyone supply me with some comparative numbers concerning data IO of the A3000 compared to the other boxes mentioned, and your opinions? Thanks alot, Matt Pierce
