In the past, we have managed to squeeze a little extra info on to each
dump tape by specifying a combination of length/density options on the
dump command line.  This is apparently due to the fact that 620 ft
tapes are a bit longer than 620 ft.  Has anyone else experimented with
this, and if so, what is the largest "reasonable" number?  Please, email
