Most, if not all, of the System V/386 vendors include a sockets compatibility library layered on top of streams. I have used ISC's version and it appears to work fine (i.e. I have had no problems porting socket code between my system and other BSD systems). I have heard that ESIX has some problems in thier implementation. -- Conor P. Cahill (703)430-9247 Virtual Technologies, Inc. uunet!virtech!cpcahil 46030 Manekin Plaza, Suite 160 Sterling, VA 22170
