We have a DECsystem 5840 with 3 RA90 drives connected
to a single kdb50 BI-bus disk controller.

The controller makes the disks (which are not THAT slow) appear REAL slow.
The only solution seems to be a faster disk controller, e.g. the kdm70
XMI-bus controller, although i'd hate to put a VAX-based board into my
mips machine.

Does anyone use a KDM70 in a DECsystem 58x0? performance?
