This is not a Windows package, but it runs quite well under Windows. The package is a full blown accounting system and requires some time to setup and learn. Once I got passed the learning curve, this package has been quite easy to use and handles everything (invoicing, job costing, payroll, AR/AP, general ledger, and inventory). I use the invoicing, payroll, accounts receivable, and general ledeger. Everything is well integrated, and fault tolerant. The price is about $150 mail order. They also have an upgrade version for large businesses called Solomon. This package came recommended by our accountant, and is really oriented toward an account/book-keeper. It prints all the quarterly and annual tax reports. Like I said, the learning curve is steep (I had no accounting background), but the package does everything, and the price is reasonable. Most importantly, the package provides a fully auditable book-keeping system. I looked and MYOB and several other packages, but they just didn't stack up with the features and reporting facillities.
