Message-ID: <1991Mar18.122942.15369@resam.dk> Date: 18 Mar 91 12:29:42 GMT Organization: RESAM Project Office, SAS, CPHML-V Lines: 52 Hello World! We where wondering if there should be somebody out there who has a solution to the following problem with RasterOps cards on SunSparc. We are using SunSparc1 & SunSparc1+, SunOS4.1 and OpenWindows 2.0 with XView. One of our goals is to show live true color video in an OW 2.0 window on a SunSparc monitor. At the moment we have access to true color video with a black & white _overlay_ (the windows & their content) or 8 bit (256) color on the video & windows! We need true color video and at least 8 color windows but 24 bit windows is preferred! RasterOps currently support the following configurations: Window Video SunView 1 bit 24 bit 8 bit 8 bit 8 bit 24 bit 24 bit 24 bit (Just guess!) OpenWindows2 1 bit 24 bit 8 bit 8 bit Do you have the driver to put in here? OpenWindows3 1 bit 24 bit (Just guess!) 8 bit 8 bit (Just guess!) 8 bit 24 bit (Just rumors) 24 bit 24 bit (Just rumors) If we used SunView instead, then there wouldn't be a problem, but we have to stick to OpenWindows 2.0 - any suggestions/comments/...?
