X11R4 xpr supports the HP Paintjet already, so you may have nothing to worry about. If you have other printers to worry about though then xpr on the Amiga, although it is part of a commercial package, might be worth serious consideration since it supports a very large variety of printers already. xpr on the Amiga supports the HP paintjet in two different ways. The standard -device pjet which uses a driver written by HP. and via -device amiga which uses a driver written by Commodore-Amiga.
