As usual I have got myself initiated into Oliver Jones and Young's book. So far I did not get a chance to look into a code which deals with bitmaps/ pixmaps. I have just started on the chapter on bitmaps/pixmaps in Youngs book. I find the best way to learn xXZ is to go through lot of example programs rather than just reading the books. I could not understand much about what you were talking in terms of the Geoclock etc. but I would like to see the source code if possible and also the bitmaps so that I can play with them. Is that a software for [A[C[C[C[C[C[C[C[C[C[C[C[C[C[C[C[C[C[C[C[C[C[C[C[C[C[C[C[C[C[C[C[C[C[C[C[C[C[C[C[C[C[C[C[C[C[C[CMay I have that program or does it have some copyright etc protections. BTW I have used a bitmap editor but where should I look for a pixmap editor? I am using SONY NEWS/SUN SPARC/IBM 6000 machines. Ignore any question which appears to be dumb because I am still an infant as far as X goes. Thank you Sincerely (NB: today is the first day of my subscription to this newsgroup so I am ignorant of whatever hapepened/happens here )
