Thanks in advance for any info! You just asked the 64 million dollar question. One of the reasons that it is so hard to diagnose initially is that it can affect people in so many different ways. With some people it will start with the eyes being affected. Many times with the eyes being the first sign of the disease the person will have less physical problems but not always. For those with physical problems occurring first it might be a sign of weakness, a numbing sensation. Most people with MS have problems with exposure to heat some have problems with the cold although that is generally less the case. I believe that in many of the cases that the doctor doesn't like to have to give bad news. This is especially true with MS since there is relatively little that can be done by the doctor in the way of treatment. I hope that gives you a little bit of an idea. I'm sure that others will be able to help you also.
