I am thinking of doing some hunting in NY this year.  I have hunted
near Oneonta (East Meredith to be exact) a few times, but most of
my hunting experience is in Virginia.  Anyone interested in forming
a group for the upcoming deer season?  Anyone have any property
upstate and want visitors?  I'm REALLY friendly! :-)

Also, what is everyone's favorite deer rifle?  I'm partial to my
Winchester Model 94 in .38-55 cal.  There's just something about
a 255 grain bullet that makes a hunter all warm and fuzzy inside.
