I have found a source of motherboards, ram cards, HD/Floppy controlers, HD's. But nothing that you buy Cheap is guarnteeded to work. Me being the EE student i am should be able to repair most of the boards that are not totally distroyed and my lobor is free. But I have no idea where to get information on the nitty gritty stuff like the actual working of the support chips with the MPU, I know alot agbout the concepts and such frim my EE classes but as far as the actual layout of the board and what each chip does I am at somewat of a loss. Does anybody know where I can find a source of Service notes for semi-outdated (1985 type stuff) computer equipment?
