For those of us with only a very weak knowledge of the documentary
hypothesis(DH), could someone please answer the following questions:

1)  In summary, what is the DH?

2)  What are the tests it uses?

3)  What are its principle conclusions?

4)  What objections (scholarly or otherwise) have been raised to it?
