Lunde? This article is "a description of how to send and receive *real* Japanese text (i.e., kana and kanji) using electronic mail". In Part 9, he describes the software for editing, sending, receiving, displaying and printing Japanese characters (for IBM and Mac). I believe this is a good source for the information about Japanese word processors. A current copy of this article is available at: by anonymous FTP at ucdavis.edu (128.120.2.1) in the pub/JIS directory under the name japan.inf; by downloading from CompuServe; by contacting the author; by contacting me. I got this article from the author three weeks ago. His electronic mail address is: klunde@vms.macc.wisc.edu (internet) klunde@wiscmacc (bitnet). According to him, BITNET is not so reliable for sending a file containing Japanese characters. Tell him (or me) your Internet address if you have one. The article says that MOKE 2.0 can be ordered from: KiCompWare, Attn: J.J., 1812 N. Erb St., Appleton, WI 54911. ($49.95 plus $5.00 for shipping and handling) In case personal contact is required, Mr. Mark Edwards' address is: 101015.206@compuserve.com #405 Konya manshon 4-12-6 Gono kami, Hamura-cho, Nishitamagun Tokyo 190 JAPAN phone: (0425)79-3910 - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Could anyone tell me the information about Japanese CAI software?
