Reposted-by: emv@msen.com (Edward Vielmetti, MSEN) After an inexcusable delay, I have finally generated a new version of the draft ICMP Router Discovery specification, incorporating the changes adopted at the Vancouver meeting last July. I mailed the latest draft to CNRI on Friday, for installation in the internet-drafts directory. A copy is also available for anonymous FTP from gregorio.stanford.edu, file gw-discovery/draft-rfc. As agreed in Vancouver, we will allow a one-month comment period and then, if no substantive objections are raised, we will submit it to the IESG, requesting that it be elevated to Proposed Standard status and published as an RFC. So get your shots in now! Steve Deering deering@xerox.com
