  Hello out there

I would like to ask a couple of questions about graphic modes supported
in the gnu package:

1. What modes are supported ?
2. How do I select them ?
3. How do I reselect character mode ?

My purpose for this is to compare the speed of mandelbrot generation
with 386-instructions to 8086/286-instructions supported by MS-C 6.0
