I suspect this is because no SVGA modes seem to support more that one graphics page, which makes animation, well, difficult. Actually, include with that the 640x480x16 VGA mode too...(512k cards should be able to handle 2 pages of that easily). However, if i'm wrong (and i hope i am) let me know - it would be nice to know if it can be done. nye
