For certain uses on CSERVE, I find 300 is actually fast enough, since I can read as fast as the characters come out that way. The problem I'm having is that with recent revs of the T2500 ROMs (6.01 and 7.0) I have been unable to complete Bell 103 calls. The modems answer and think they're happy, but no amount of playing with baud rates/parity/etc. will make anything other than garbage come out. I tried the same thing with a Microcom AX/2400 (a basic Bell 103/22/V.22bis MNP4 modem) and connected just fine. I suspect I am getting a modulation other than Bell 103, perhaps V.21, but have not found a way to correct this. Any ideas? -- Daniel Senie UUCP: uunet!lectroid!peanut!dts Daniel Senie Consulting ARPA: peanut!dts@lectroid.sw.stratus.com 48 Elm Street CSRV: 74176,1347 Clinton, MA 01510 TEL.: 508 - 365 - 5352
