But I don't think it matters. Just because a vendor is sucessful doesn't mean it has the best modem. I, and my guess is many other modem buyers, select a modem on its speed, features, quality and price, not its success in the marketplace. Sometimes success in the marketplace is because of value, like Telebits used to enjoy in the unix UUCP marketplace.
