I hope this gives a feel for what we are looking for (my dept.
belongs to a larger Engineering School).

If such a beast can't be found on the net, I would be glad to hear
about any partial solution that we could integrate.

if anything else fails, I'll start a student project on this theme,
but I'd hate to reinvent the wheel.
