I ask these questions, not to inveigle a firm committment date, but to help me determine whether I should port Epoch 3.2 to my RS6000/AIX3.1 and use it for a while, or would I be better off waiting for the fabled Emacs 19. I don't want to spend the effort doing the former if the latter will be ready within a time frame small enough to make me regret it.
