	Our group is looking for code that will quantize 24-bit images to 8-bit
images.  We are looking for an algorithm such as Median Cut that will give 
good results, and we are looking for something that is vectorized or that we
can vectorize.  Any leads as to where to find such code are greatly appreciated.
