	Perl 4.0.0 passes 'make test' on SGI machines running Irix
3.3.2 with the following settings:

d_vfork:	undef
d_volatile:	define
d_voidsig:	define
void flags:	7
libraries:	-lmalloc, no -lbsd
includes:	none
C flags:	-O -Olimit 3000 for all but cmd.c, perl.c
		-O1 -Olimit 3000 for cmd.c, perl.c

I'm still trying to track down what the optimizer trashes in cmd.c and
perl.c.  So far, it looks like it's related to return values in st[].
