I do not think it is possible to send mail to GEnie accounts.  I have
an account on GEnie, and was imformed by GEnie customer Service that GEnie
was a "closed" sysytem and that I could not send mail through BITNET.
They indicated they felt this insured better security and privacy.
(I felt it indicated greater inconvenience)
