Are you sure she's French? She has an interesting tape on Mode, with a piece based on the Native American coyote legends. Mode has a series of recordings of contemporary women composers and performers. The Bernadette Speach CD in the same series has a wonderful jazz-influenced suite with lyrics by Thulani Davis. Bill
