Message-ID: <7192@bgsuvax.UUCP> Date: 20 Mar 91 20:27:57 GMT Organization: Bowling Green State University B.G., Oh. Lines: 16 I have a true blue XT with an IBM 3.5" 720K external floppy drive, and I am wondering if this drive is usable (in 720K mode) with minix 1.5? This drive is connected through the large connector on the back of the floppy controller. Do I need to make a new device to use it, like /dev/fd2 with the same major device number, and a minor number one greater than /dev/fd1? Thanks very much in advance - I'm still new to minix and have not been able to find any references to this size media in the documentation I have.
