Does anyone know of a manufacturer who produces SCSI-II controller chips which can utilise the so-called 'wide SCSI' implementation. Specifically I would like to get hold of a controller (similar in functionality to the NCR SCIOP) which accesses a 32 bit bus on the host side AND on the SCSI side as well. It would be evne better if it went real fast..like 10 Megatransfers/sec....with a 32 bit SCSI path this would give 40 Mbytes/sec. I dont care if its diferential drive or not, since it wont ever drive a real cable, just a backplane. thanks in advance Geoff Peck __________________________________________________________________________ |Department of Scientific and Industrial Research | |Physical Sciences Div. | Internet: srghgcp@grv.dsir.govt.nz | |Infomation Tech.
