Message-ID: Date: 21 Mar 91 16:23:53 GMT Sender: news@hamblin.math.byu.edu (Usenet News) Organization: Brigham Young University Lines: 17 I am looking for a driver for PC localtalk cards (like Tops FlashCard) that will give my software the raw LAP packets, not a DDP interface like ATALK.SYS does. I've looked at the clarkson packet driver "localtlk" and it doesn't do what I want. It provides a packet interface using ATALK.SYS that gives me IP packets. I want the raw LAP packets. Does such a thing exist? If not, where can I find some information on writing one? The ultimate purpose of this is to produce a freely available software package that will run on a cheap PC clone and emulate a (Kinetics? Shiva?) FastPath. Thanks in advance for any help. -jan- -- Jan L.
