I use it, it seems to work and that's about it. However, one thing that I don't believe Novell can do is run over a serial line the way PC-NFS does through SLIP. I have a Laptop I use when I am out of the office and a Telebit modem. Due to the limited size of the hard drive in the laptop it is extremely handy to be able to use the server back at the office. Since I do both Unix and DOS based software development PC-NFS seems to be the ideal tool. I can sit in a hotel room anywhere in the world and switch between a Unix and a DOS session with one keystroke. I do all the DOS development on a network mounted drive so I am not limited by space in any way. Both Unix and DOS source code is gathered and source controlled on a single machine and life is good. If that makes PC-NFS a worthless piece of software then so be it, I happen to like this particular wothless piece of software. -- Rasmus Lerdorf calgary!ajfcal!napc!rasmus 1020-64 Ave NE, Calgary NovAtel Advanced Product Concept Development Alberta, Canada T2E 7V8
