The Business School is currently using arcnet to access our main Novell server. Is there some other solution, perferably PD, that would provide novell arcnet users with ethernet-like telnet and ftp services? Yes. A university such as yourself can use Phil Karn (KA9Q)'s NOS to route packets between ARCNET and Ethernet. You'll need to FTP it from thumper.bellcore.com:pub/ka9q/nos/src0302.zip, and recompile it, turning ARCNET on. Then you'll need the ARCNET packet driver, FTP it from sun.soe.clarkson.edu:pub/packet-drivers/drivers.zip. Please reply to me directly since I don't normally read this group. Thanks. Sorry, if you're unwilling to invest the time to read the group, I'm unwilling to help only you. -- --russ I'm proud to be a humble Quaker.
