Is anyone aware of tools, utilities or public domain software etc. that 
read and write IBM-formatted 1/2 inch tape?
(managing headers, blocking and so on)

I am using Motorola 68k (CISC) and 88k (RISC) processors (UNIX).

Program sources and/or information about existence and where to get it,
will be appreciated.
