Here is our dilemma... On one of our soon to be released products, there exists an isopoint feature. Isopoint is a gadget which is embedded into an ALPS keyboard that emulates a mouse. The ROM allows you to map the isopoint to a couple of different ports including COM1 and COM2. Since the chip used in the isopoint is the same as for the MS serial Mouse, a MS driver functions quite well with the isopoint. So what is the problem? Microsoft will not allow us to ship the product using their driver without a mouse. This leaves us with one of the following options: 1. License or buy a driver from someone else. 2. Write our own. 3. Bundle a MS mouse with every machine. The easiest and less costly of which is 1. Brett Behm (Zenith Data Systems) (616) 982-5579 uunet!zds-ux!behm
