I thought the game would be PD, as I had seen a version for MS-DOS. However, I did get some helpful responses; in particular, a pointer to a Rogue clone in comp.sources.games volume 1, parts 11-15, and patches in parts 32 and 52. These are available in from uunet.uu.net (137.39.1.2 or 192.48.96.2). I don't really care whether these are the original sources.
