Summary: what is involved Message-ID: <13594@helios.TAMU.EDU> Date: 21 Mar 91 23:38:05 GMT Sender: usenet@helios.TAMU.EDU Distribution: comp Organization: Texas A&M University Lines: 23 Hello all, again. I don't use UA and would like to remove it and all of it's files. Before I go through and find out which ua 'objects' reference which scripts/binaries, I'd like to know if anyone else has removed ua. If you have removed ua, do you have a list of files that need to be removed? Do you have a modified /etc/rc (for the window driver)? Are there any problems with certain binaries expecting the window manager to be running (which?) ? It'd also be nice if the certain administrative commands from the install login were written out in plain unix commands (installing/removing printers, rs232 admin, etc). I'd like to try mgr and see how much better it is than UA. Thanks. +----------------------+--------------------------+ | Brent P.
