Lines: 21 I am experiencing pittiful performance with KindWords 2.0 under Workbench 2.0 on my Amiga 3000-16. Specifically, my system is running Kickstart 36.207 and Workbench 36.69. When I run KindWords, I get really, really jerky mouse response and overall slow response (move a tab margin and wait 4-5 seconds for the clock wait pointer to come back). This does not happen under Workbench 1.3.2 either on my A3000 or my previous A2000. Interestingly enough, I tested the version that was bundled with A3000 (as part of the Deluxe 500 package) and the version I had previously bought. The version bundled with the package claims to version 2.0 and copyrighted 1989. The executable is dated 13-jan-89 and is 313084 bytes. My version that I obtained directly from The Disc Company is version 2.0, dated 21-Nov-88 and is 317096 bytes. Is this a bug in Workbench 2.0 or Kindwords 2.0? Why does Commodore package a software program that isn't compatible with the platform? -- .../Ed Preferrred: Ed.Wilts@BSC.Galaxy.BCSystems.Gov.BC.CA Ed Wilts Alternate: EdWilts@BCSC02.BITNET (604) 389-3430 B.C.
