I solved my own problem....! for those who might benefit, the solution was to get rid of the autoconfig.bat and config.sys files that were on the disk.... there were some commands in them that caused IBeM to shut down. I don't know what file(s) or commands caused the problem, but deleteing or renaming the files allowed IBeM to come up just fine. IBeM is sure slow, but amazing (especially in less than 45K!) He gets my 30 bucks for sure! -Mike-
