I want to call them and ask them some questions about the MegaMidgetRacer (MMR). Maybe someone on the net can answer the questions. Can the MMR be purchased without a 68030 chip (I already have a 68030 chip). I've seen mail order adds for the 25 MHz version for about $650, seems like a 68030less one could be had cheaper. Do all the various speed versions (20 MHz thru 33 MHz [and beyond?]) use the same PC board and support chips? What I'm asking is, is the only difference between them the rated speed of the 68030 and the crystal (and optional 68882)? What chips or SIMMS or SIPS or whatever go on the daughter memory board for the MMR. Can the daughter board be purchased with no memory. What is a going price for the daughter board? Anyone have anything bad to say about the MMR? Anybody want to sell there's? -- Tim Cullip cullip@cs.unc.edu
