But surely you realize that the mods you describe will be well beyond most of us? I have administered our Apolli for over two years now, and I did not understand half of what you just said. So the moral is, mere mortal sysadmins are stuck with using vanilla sendmail (home compiled from Berkeley sources, of course). No big hardship; it works quite well for us. But then we are a small site, with moderate amounts of mail traffic.
