Keywords: gif, II+ Message-ID: <2434@umriscc.isc.umr.edu> Date: 20 Mar 91 07:36:46 GMT Sender: news@umriscc.isc.umr.edu Reply-To: curts@ee.umr.edu (Curt Schroeder) Distribution: na Organization: University of Missouri - Rolla Lines: 13 I have a gif file produced using the Utah Raster Toolkit on a DEC3100. I would like to view it on my apple to check that the Utah tool 'rletogif' is working properly. Unfortunately, IIGIF 1.0 dies a horrible death when I try to display it. According to the header information, the gif file has a color range of about 2 million, instead of 4096. Is there a gif viewer out there that will run on a II+ that wont go belly up on this? Is there a later version of IIGIF than IIGIF 1.0? IIGIF 1.0 works just fine with a color range of 4096 on my II+. Any help would be most appreciated.
