I have an idea for another option that is most likely what I would have done if I had known about it at the time.. Buy an AMIGA monitor. Yes, the "enemy"'s monitor. (JUST KIDDING, when I finally eventually in a million years want/need a new computer, it'll either be a NeXT or an Amiga.. but I'll still use the GS).. They're CHEAP (I think like $200!)... Also, they have: 1) Analog RGB.. For the GS. 2) Digital RGB.. Maybe if you ever want to use it on an IBM or //e with RGB card. 3) I -think- an NTSC input, so you could watch TV on it too or use it as a monitor for a VCR or whatever. 4) SOUND input. I think "only" one speaker, but it has a volume control too... Much more useful than the damn built-in speaker... (for when you don't want to use external speakers) I can't think of any more reasons, although I believe at one time I had a few more... Besides, it can't be any worse than the GS monitor! (Talk about MOIRE patterns up the wazoo that piss you off!) --
