I can't unshrink a ummts.cc... archive Keywords: ftp Message-ID: <1991Mar21.232609.23313@ux1.cso.uiuc.edu> Date: 21 Mar 91 23:26:09 GMT Sender: usenet@ux1.cso.uiuc.edu (News) Organization: University of Illinois at Urbana Lines: 16 I just recently downloaded the DO.TUNE.1 - DO.TUNE.3 program from the ummts.cc.umich.edu FTP site, and I'm having trouble unpacking it. I did manage to BinScii the file, and I have it on a ProDos disk as tune.1.qq, tune.2.qq, and tune.3.qq. I assume they are Shrinkit archives as Shrinkit 3.0.2 recognizes them. However, when I go to open them, Shrinkit gives me no menu showing what is in the archives; it simply prompts for a destination volume. That doesn't bother me; what does is that when I hit Return to pro- ceed with the decompression, Shrinkit tries to unshrink the files as (I think) a full ProDos disk. This seems apparent from the fact that the file name Shrinkit shows is '/Untitled/' for all three files. The problem is that ProDos claims it can't find the correct volume. What am I doing wrong? The only thingI can think of is that I'm using a //c with only one disk drive. Any sugges- tions? Thanks in advance, Collin Rich
