While at lunch today I noticed a new Apple dealer had sprung up in my area. Being curious I stopped by. Not one Apple II product to be seen. I spoke with the salesperson and she said that they had no plans to sell any II products. I also asked her about the rumour that Sears was going to market the II. She said it was true but didn't know if it was going to be Sears or possibly Kmart. She then proceeded to tell my that the kind of people who would buy an Apple II are the same kind of people who would shop at Kmart (old obese ladies wearing polyester????) as if we were some kind of second class citizens. I felt like clobbering her, but hey, I'm a gentleman. :) Any way, for what it's worth....... ps. I have nothing against Kmart, somethings should be bought there because it's cheap. Maybe it would be a good thing to have Kmart market the II but I really didn't appreciate the 2nd class citizen thing. _____________________________________________________________________ "it's the end of the world as we know it, and I feel fine" R.E.M. --------------------------------------------------------------------- driver8
