It was supposed to be 1 meg, but is temporarily at 768k while I await replacement of one ram chip that was bad. In playing with it, I find a couple of things that I would like to be able to do that sound like they are doable, but I can't seem to make them happen. First, there is ramdrive to create a ram disk for dos 3.3, and prodrive to make one for prodos. Is there any way I could just copy files to the ramdrive, switch to prodos, and have the files be intact? Not really a necessary function but it would save me a step. Second, I would like to split the prodos ram disk into two drives. I thought I could just create the prodrive, locking out the 2nd 64k (normal prodos ramdisk space), switch it to a different drive location, rename it, and then have prodos create its normal /ram disk. However I can't get this to work. No matter what I do, I can only get one unique ram disk (even though it may be located in two different drive locations, say s3d2 and s5d2, it's the same disk). Has anyone ever done either of these things?
