Actually, the original poster was correct, and Ozark SoftScape programmed the
two games mentioned (M.U.L.E. and Seven Cities of Gold).  EA marketed and
handled the distribution of these games.

One of my friends, (from Little Rock, AR, where the authors are from) knew
the developers and he says they are still around.  What they are doing now is
a mystery to him, though.
