Subject: Can the internal modem on the 7300 call/answer a callback modem?

Using either kermit or the built in phone utilities I can call a callback modem
which duly hangs up and calls me back.  Unfortunately the modem disconnects
when the carrier goes away.  Thus the callback modem talks to a getty instead
of the terminal emulator.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.
