Message-ID: <19928@brahms.udel.edu> Date: 23 Mar 91 16:02:25 GMT Organization: University of Delaware Lines: 15 I downloaded some files via ftp from mars.ee.msstate.edu. Several of them seem to be in parts, with each part called something like "1!PROGRAMNAME" (with each file having a different number in the beginning). I tried running each of the individual parts, but each time I tried, the computer just crashed or I'd type 'run' and nothing would happen. Are these programs in some archive form which needs to be decoded? I have never seen files named like that on any other system, and there's no "lnx", "arc", or any other suffix at the end which could tell me what kind of de-archive program to use. Any ideas out there? hamilton@brahms.udel.edu
