Hi,

I have a 286 M/B that supports 41256 (256Kx9) DRAM chips,
I unwittingly inserted two rows of SCRAM (Static Column RAM)
chips.....They worked !?!?!


Well, at the time I thought they were DRAM, now that I look 
back....how come they worked??

Also, my M/B is socketed for 16 pin *OR* 18 pin DRAM chips
kinda weird sockets :


What RAM comes in 18 pin chips??
