Message-ID: <1991Mar20.150427.7131@rulway.LeidenUniv.nl> Date: 20 Mar 91 15:04:27 GMT References: <1991Mar19.032042.9352@techbook.com> Sender: Robijn@rulcvx.leidenuniv.nl Organization: Sterrewacht Leiden, the Netherlands. Lines: 22 Nntp-Posting-Host: rulcvx.leidenuniv.nl Recently I've got a program from a friend of mine that runs on XT's only if a co-processor is present. Since I don't have one, I was wondering if it is possible to emulate a 8087 coprocessor on a computer that only has a 8086 CPU? I have already found programs on various ftp-sites that do the job on AT's, but so far I could not find a XT version. Does it exists, or is it for some reason impossible to write such a program? Anyone who can help me?
